![]() All other synth parts were done by Dave Bluefield on Oberheim OBx-a as well as the beat on the Oberheim DMX drum machine Prince was given co-writing credit as that keyboard line was heavily inspired by Prince’s own song Little Red Corvette, but he had no direct input in writing the song. The only part he did were the 8th note up beats in the chorus. Prince appears on the song playing a keyboard part (uncredited). In 2007, the Stand Back single was re-released, containing several new remixes of the track. Stand Back is the sixth track on Stevie Nicks’ second solo album The Wild Heart, and, three weeks before the album’s release, Stand Back was released as the album’s first single.
